Alice Tasca

He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and Construction from the Politecnico di Torino (2008). Between 2009 and 2011 he lived in Spain and Mexico where he undertook the investigation for his final thesis, that focused on traditional architecture, local construction techniques and robust technologies. He believes in Architecture as an essential instrument of social improvement.
Alice holds a Master's in Sustainable Architecture (IUAV, 2011). She moved to Rwanda as lecturer at the School of Architecture, University of Rwanda, where she coordinated the Third Year design studio. She's highly committed to the value of environmentally sustainable design, with a focus on climate change resilience and off grid systems. She purchased ASA in 2014 after being a design fellow for one year.

Initially as a fellow (2012) and now as co-owner (2014), he has been involved in most of ASA's projects. He believes in a practice rooted in a continuous research and hands-on field work that understands the relationship between processes and context and engages with the society. He holds a Master's degree in Architecture and Construction from IUAV, Venice. He taught at the UR for 4 years.

Anna Breda

Graduated at IUAV in 2001, freelanced for 18 years in Architecture, Urban Design, Housing, Retail and Airports Design. She moved to East Africa in 2012 providing consultancy to the City of Kigali. Since 2015 she’s working on urban design at various scales with special focus on public spaces, upgrading and regeneration projects, applying co-design and participatory processes. 
Rocco Cislaghi

Rocco holds a Master’s in Architecture and Urban Design from Politecnico di Milano. In 2021, he carried out his thesis research in Rwanda investigating settlement transformation strategies to foster rural community development. He believes in architecture as a powerful tool to environmental regeneration  and social integration.
M.Claire Uwizeye

Graduated in accounting at Espanya in 2008, Marie Claire is ASA's office administrator and secretary since 2020. She has extensive experience gained by working at NAG (New African Gaming) and ICE (Interior Construction Entreprise). Claire wishes to work in an environment that encourages her to grow professionally, and where she can utilise and develop her skills.
Fabrice Uwiduhaye

With a Master's in Structural Engineering from Jiangsu University – China, Fabrice is a certified civil structural engineer with over 7 years of experience. He has knowledge of engineering principles, theories, specifications, and standards. He is committed to lead and work with ASA's architecture team to find effective structural and civil solutions that make projects safe, more efficient and cost effective.
